The genealogy begins with Nicholas Rochester of Virginia (b. l640).  Other Rochester families, not documented as part of this line at the time of writing, are included by state.  Reference is made to court and census records, and in many instances the actual document is included in the text.  An addendum connects additional Rochester families to Nicholas.  The addendum is also indexed.  Of special interest and included in its entirety in Volume II, is House of Rochester in Kentucky, written in the l800’s by Agatha Rochester Strange.  Her stories, along with those derived from my research and travels, make for a compelling read in Volume II.

Comprehensive and well documented, the book consists of 200 pages (8-l/2 x 11), singled spaced.  The manuscript is spiral bound with the above title page printed on the cover.
